Thanks to everyone who provided information on potential Holly Mutual system leaks. We are tracking four general areas where above-ground water has been spotted. Our initial suspicion was the Piedmont Well. However once we isolated it from the main pipeline, thorough testing didn't uncover any evidence Piedmont is a leak source. What's making this tricky is there are underground tributaries in our area that could easily channel water away from the actual location of an underground leak.

There is one area of standing water that will be excavated this coming Monday, July 6, and as a result the entire Holly Mutual system will have to be turned off for at least the Monday distribution period. We are hoping to be back online for Tuesday, but I will write in either case. Having the system turned off will also provide us opportunities to sort out other potential leak sources, and we will be taking advantage of that.

Since Colorado Water Well (CWW) will be here Monday morning to shut off our water distribution, they will also be fixing a minor configuration issue at the Whitehall Well that delays the onset of the daily water distribution, at least on the west side of the neighborhood. When we're back online, we expect everyone will have water from 8:00 to 10:00 am for irrigation and 10:00 am to noon for irrigation system testing.

As we are successful in fixing remaining leak(s), we plan to bring the Piedmont Well back online and expand our distribution time periods. The daily irrigation system testing time period will be discontinued, so now would be a good time to finish any efforts in that regard. I will announce all schedule changes as soon as I know.
