Last night another leak was reported on Piedmont, and we were forced to 
turn off the Holly Mutual system overnight. After checking this 
morning, it appears to be coming from somewhere along our pipeline, but 
it may be difficult to locate. I will send updates when we know more, 
and when the system is returned to operation.

Like many of you I am concerned that we are experiencing an inordinate 
number of leaks this year. I've had two burst pipes of my own in the 
past three days. While that wasn't a big deal because I simply closed 
the cutoff valve near our tap, the parts that failed looked in 
otherwise good condition. CWW assures me the water pressure is normal, 
but I'm wondering if there's something that is causing it to surge 
intermittently. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.
