[Holly Mutual Water Company]

Last night I monitored system pressure and the volume of the leak. 
While any detectable leak is bad, this one seems around a couple of 
gallons a minute, which is less than 1% of our capacity. Thus for the 
moment we're going to keep distributing water. We had one report of a 
gap in the pressure at about 7 am, but otherwise the system provided 
water from midnight to 10 am at the half-dozen times I checked.

We've received a couple of leads and suggestions on possible methods of 
avoiding digging up Piedmont. We will be working with CWW in the 
meantime to solve this problem in the least disruptive manner that is 
consistent with reasonable cost and time.

A fair number of people have asked the obvious question of whether we 
should even continue supplying water through Holly Mutual. This is a 
reasonable concern that we need to consider. The Board is looking to 
schedule a shareholders' meeting in the near future to address the 
future direction for Holly Mutual, and other important matters. We will 
be giving you at least a month's notice once we have the 
time/place/agenda finalized.
