All:

Sorry that I'm overdue in advising you that the Holly Mutual water distribution was scheduled to end on October 31, which is generally our target. Colorado Water Well (CWW) called this morning to say that they are investigating a reported leak on Greenbriar. As a result we decided to shut the system down a couple of days early.

If you haven't yet deactivated your irrigation system, please ensure your irrigation company closes your Holly Mutual stop & waste valve. Even though we won't be distributing water over the winter, CWW will occasionally be pressurizing the system for testing purposes. If your stop & waste valve is left open, your irrigation system will again fill with water and likely incur freeze damage. While this may appear obvious, this has snagged more than a few shareholders over the recent years.

The positive news is that all of the repairs for the Whitehall Well were completed earlier this month. We haven't been able to bring it back on line until now, because that will require shutting the entire system down for several days. Once the new leak is addressed, CWW will complete the final activation of the Whitehall Well so that we will be back in full operation on April 16, 2025.

The Holly Mutual board is well aware that we are overdue for an annual shareholders' meeting, which we are endeavoring to schedule. All five board positions will require elections. Three members of the current board are willing to run for reelection, but we absolutely need to fill the two open positions. While two people have volunteered to run for these openings, any and all shareholders are welcome to run for any of the five positions. Our charter requires us to give you at least 30 days of notice for shareholders' meetings, so keep a watch for this.

Cheers,
Mark Derbyshire

President, Holly Mutual Board of Directors
