I checked with Colorado Water Well yesterday (Monday). They were in the process of activating the Piedmont Well, and expected that it would be operational as of today, which is Holly Mutual's traditional startup date. I normally don't activate our irrigation system for another month, so I can't say with certainty that it is running. If you encounter any problems, please let me know.

For the time being, the Piedmont Well will be providing water 24 hours a day. This should help you coordinate with your irrigation companies during the day. While you are fine testing your system during the day, please only water on your allocated days and during scheduled times. Especially at the moment, we have no excess capacity. The Whitehall Well is being repaired and will not be available until that work is completed.

As always we are planning to reduce our operational hours to our 'cool month' schedule by May, which only supplies water from 3:00 am to 10:00 am. After that your irrigation company will only be able to test your system before 10:00 am each day. I will send an email to this list once we determine when to make that switch. However, if the system is overused and Piedmont is running out of water, we may be unable to provide any advance notice.

Please follow our horribly outdated irrigation schedule as best as you can - I keep hoping to find time to update the owner names, and a few cases where the irrigation days were changed by agreement with the property owners. Maybe this year. The Holly Mutual Board is also hoping to schedule a shareholders' meeting in the near future, but we don't have a target, yet.
