I have instructed Colorado Water Well (CWW) to shut down the Holly Mutual distribution system by the end of October, and that may happen anytime they are next in the area, starting now.

Please make sure to close your master valve (the one immediately downstream from your tap). Typically CWW performs well maintenance during the winter and occasionally pressurizes the distribution lines. We also anticipate this will be required as part of the repair work to recommission the Whitehall Well. If you leave your master valve open, there is a high potential your irrigation system will fill with water, freeze, and flood your yard. While this may seem obvious, it does happen.

The Holly Mutual system is scheduled to be reactivated on April 16, 2024. I will send out a notice in advance of that date.
