Sorry to annoy everyone who already knows about this, but the Cherry
Hills Village Police Department has issued a serious Crime Alert. Given
that the City's social media outreach is still in its infancy, not many
people are in the notification loop and thus I decided to employ the
Holly Mutual mailing list to help get the word out.

The essence is a group of roughly four armed suspects are testing locks
on vehicles and residences during the night and seeking to enter them.
Cars have been stolen and residences have been entered. They may also be
attempting to force entry, even when locked doors are encountered. There
were examples of this in the general Charlou area on Saturday night and
in another neighborhood on Monday night. Police are reminding residents
to lock all car and residence doors, take keys and higher value
belongings out of vehicles, activate alarms, and report any suspicious
activity. If you notice any such activity call 911 immediately and avoid
confronting the suspects, as they are considered armed and dangerous.
