All:

I just got off the phone with CWW. The Whitehall well has been fixed 
and is now back in operation. They also said the Piedmont well has been 
working, but was emptying its storage tank very quickly each day 
because of demand. When this happened, no water would be available 
until the following day because Pedmont cannot pump fast enough on its 
own and has a smaller storage tank than Whitehall.

Nevertheless this is concerning to me because we had expected Piedmont 
would be at least able to supply enough water during the day for 
irrigation system testing. Either there is something else going on with 
the Piedmont well or people are irrigating during the day.

Starting tomorrow we will be running the wells from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 
each day only to facilitate irrigation system testing. Please let me 
know immediately if you have problems or success. Hopefully we can get 
everyone's irrigation system tested and running quickly, and then can 
have the well timers reset to supply irrigation water at night. Until 
that time please do not irrigate during the day. If the system is 
overtaxed and shuts down, we will have to institute far more draconian 
measures that I would prefer to avoid.
