IM Cyrus Lakdawala told me on an ICC Chess>FM show that he scored about 90%
from the White side of the Exchange Slav.

One time my buddy David Vigorito said he was very depressed when his White
opponent utilized the Exchange Slav just when Dave needed to win to secure
an IM norm. Then he thought -
" There are still 31 pieces and pawns on the board to confuse him" -
Dave won the game and the norm.

Dave was my inspiration for this game.
