Hi Brian! Are any of the Colorado Chess Player playing here? You won't
believe what happened in the first round, a weak master 2216 almost
beat GM Viktor Korchnoi! He should have won being a piece and two pawns
but his endgame skills were lacking but he still scored a major upset
and memories for a lifetime, he drew Viktor the Terrible Korchnoi! I am
playing in the <2000 section as after two 6 hour games, one of the last
ot finish in fact I won both, first one a double rook one pawn up
endgame, the second and I got revenge for last year's National Open
loss, I won a Q + N vs Q + B endgame! I have got to stop playing over
those Kramnik games and play over Brian's Fishin' Pole Attack! Well, I
better go to sleep, next round 11 AM, every one take care!
