Hello All,

On August 21st Mrs. Nell Maguire Smiley left us, passing peacefully in her
sleep at the age of 90.  A Denver native, she will be missed by all who knew
her, for her warmth, caring, and connectedness to those who love her.  She
will be a great loss to her three children, Clay and Jeff Maguire, Marti
Rosemas and their spouses.  Also, her three step-children and spouses.  Nell
was quite accomplished, having graduated from KU, and DU (masters).  She was
a medical technologist and microbiologist and in the latter position retired
from the Colorado Health Department-Denver.  Services will be held at 2PM,
Sunday, September 2nd at the Fairmont Chapel, 430 S Quebec St
Denver, CO 80231  In lieu of flowers, the family
requests donations be made to the Denver Art Museum, art having been a
passion and avocation of Nell's.
